The 6th SLICE3D consortium partners’ meeting took place on July 12-13, 2018, at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geodesy in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The meeting was dedicated to finalizing the detailed business plan for the future Centre of Excellence.
Beside intensive work of representatives of all SLICE3D consortium partners on the SLICE3D business plan, a special session was organized on Friday morning to meet the representatives from the University of Ljubljana and the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport of the Republic of Slovenia. A welcome address was given by the dean of the Faculty of Civil and Geodetic Engineering, Prof. Matjaž Mikoš. In the continuation, Kim Turk Mehes, the Slovenian National Contact Point for Spreading Excellence and Widening Participation from the Ministry gave us some useful tips for successful international collaboration within teaming projects. Furthermore, Urša Jerše, assistant secretary general for knowledge transfer at the University of Ljubljana introduced the activities at the University in the field of knowledge transfer and in particular the university’s IP policy.
